Name : Lia
Age: 21
Gender: female
Location: US of A
Likes: Harry Potter, Buffy, Firefly, my ipod
Dislikes: stupidity, idiots, asshats, and morons... so, pretty much, 89.99% of the population.. or more. I work at Wal-Mart, so yes, I see the dumbest people....

Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Working (okay, not really a hobby..but still.)

Strengths: I'm stubborn. Very stubborn. I'm honest, to a fault. And I'm a generally strong women, hopefully, because of the first two. I'm opinionated, and intelligent... I think. And I can have a definite drive when I want to do something. I just have to want to do it first.

Fears: Snakes. Oh gadszooks, I hate snakes with a passion!!

Weaknesses: I have a temper, and there are plenty of times when it's decided to take hold, and I have said/done something stupid. I tend to get an opinion at times, without doing all the research first, but if I am proven wrong, I will apologize. I do, sometimes, get over-emotional about certain things...it really depends on the situation to be sure.

Favorite movies [no more than three]: Ghost Rider, AVP, LotR: The Fellowship if the Ring

Favorite books [no more than three]: ANY of the Miles Vorkosigan series, by Lois McMaster Bujold, Legacies, by F. Paul Wilson, Support your Local Wizard, by Diane Duane

Favorite singer/band: Natasha Bedingfield, right now. I like almost all music, so I have no particular favorite.

Wizards’ world

In which house do you think you belong? Why? Gryffindor. I'm compassionate about everything, my love, my anger, my happiness. I'm a trained first-responder, and I'm trained to be the first there, after a crisis. I think that takes a certain amount of bravery and courage, to see the other stuff that most people don't even want to. And I definitely consider myself chivalrous. Respect is earned, and if it's broken or mistreated, I won't let you live it down, most of the time. It takes an apology for me to even consider letting you step into my life again. I take friendship, and resepct, very seriously.

In which house do you think you don’t belong at all? Why? Slytherin. From all the accounts I remember, they always stabbed eachother in the back, to further themselves, were greedy, and had an insatiable lust for power. Take the Malfoy family for example.

In which class would you shine the most? Why? Either Defense Against the Dark Arts, or Divination. Defense Against the Dark Arts: An Auror's job always seemed so neat to me, despite the dangers. That would also help me combine all the classes, potions, charms, even transfiguration, to help defend myself, or someone I love. Divination: I do read a tarot deck, here at home. Most of the time, my readings are accurate. Not uncannily, not creepily, but there are definite things you can point out later and go "...huh....that's weird.". And I wouldn't mind learning about the other types of Divination: Scrying, tea leaves, runes...all of it.

Write a short paragraph about each of the following families [just state your thoughts on each of them]:
Malfoy: Seriously corrupted, and corruptable. Never liked them. They're always being snippy, disloyal, dishonest, and relative pains in the collective ass. They're always looking out for themselves, plain and simple. No ifs, no ands, and no buts about it. Blah.
Black: Seriously dysfuntional!! Honestly. But, Some, like Sirius, are capable of change. And it's nice, because he was able to break out of the mold, deny his family heritage and actually get OUT of Prison, as well as become a Gryffindor in Hogwarts.
Potter: Great people. Sure, they may have their problems like everyone else, but they aren't all about the pureblood unyay. Seriously, it's kinda stupid with the 'pureblood', 'mudblood' nonsense.
Weasley: GREAT PEOPLE. They rock my socks, honestly. They're poor, yes, but like me, they always managed to scrape by and try and do good by other people, regardless of how they were treated. Of course, there are some, like the Weasley twins, who let you know when you've mistreated them...

Remember the pensieve incident from book five? [Chapter #28: Snape’s worst memory] What are your thoughts about it? Snape probably deserved it, however, James was a bit harsh. Of course..Snape probably deserved it...

In these hard times with a new war ahead, where are your loyalties?

Family and friends. Family, however, may take a back seat to friends, as most of my family are raving asshats. You have to earn my respect, deserve my friendship, and take my protection. If I respect you, I'll become friends with you, and I'll protect you, because you're friends with me. I'll do what I can to make you laugh and smile, but that doesn't mean I won't be honest.
