Wizards’ world

In which house do you think you belong? Why?

Ravendor! Sorry, but I can never decide whether I feel like more of a Gryffindor or a Ravenclaw. I definitely love to learn like a crazy person (I just graduated from college and I'd love to go back more than anything, not because of any amazing social time, but because honestly, I really, really want to take more classes---books alone will have to do for now :/), but I am also really competitive and energetic in a Gryffindor way. Plus, I really relate to a lot of things Harry feels in the books, which might mean Gryffindor, again? Then again, it might just mean that JK Rowling's written a protagonist who's generally easy to relate to.

In which house do you think you don’t belong at all? Why?

Most people I know would tell me I don't belong in Hufflepuff, but personally, I think I belong in Slytherin least of all. I might not be super super nice and have a million friends, but I think I do have some 'Puff qualities, in that I'm a very dedicated worker and really, really hate cheating, in any sense, whether it's cheating on a boyfriend or an exam. As for Slytherin, I certainly like to achieve things, but I certainly don't agree with the "end justifies the means" motto.

In which class would you shine the most? Why?

Probably Ancient Runes. I got As in Latin with no effort whatsoever, and I suppose that would be the real-world equivalent of Ancient Runes. The only other classes I got such easy As in were philosophy classes, and there seems to be no "Philosophy of Magic" being taught at Hogwarts (most unfortunately!). I'd *like* to shine in DADA, too, but who knows?

Write a short paragraph about each of the following families [just state your thoughts on each of them]:

Malfoy:
In the books, I'm not really a fan, aside from giggling over random Draco/Harry lines (I need to see what Draco Malfoy is doing inside of you!, lol). I can see why some people have sympathy for Draco and Narcissa, but frankly, they just don't interest me enough for me to have any. In the movies, however, Draco and Lucius crack me up.

Black:
This family is certainly interesting. I'd love to know more about Andromeda, for one thing, as we basically have no info. aside from her name and the fact that she was Tonks' mother and Sirius' favorite cousin. I think their family traditions are interesting, even if morally objectionable. The House-Elf head thing is memorable, you can't argue with that...

Potter:
Well, I have a lot of respect for James and Lily, as like Harry considers in HBP, they basically "walked into a battle to the death with their heads held high" (paraphrased). I don't know really know what they would have been like as parents, obviously, but Lily seems like she could have been a fantastic mother and James seems like he could have been loads of fun as a dad, at the very least. As for Harry, well, I may be in the minority, but I like Harry a lot. Is he whiny/angsty sometimes? Yes, yes he is. However, considering all Harry's been through, I think he's got a remarkable strength of character.

Weasley:
Reading about the Weasleys always makes me wish I were one of them -- even though they're all so different, they have such a bond (Percy aside, yes).

Remember the pensieve incident from book five? [Chapter #28: Snape’s worst memory] What are your thoughts about it?
Well, I was certainly surprised when I first read that, and I was somewhat disappointed to see Harry's father and Sirius being bullies, but I was also unbelievably interested. I didn't want the memory to end -- I wanted to know everything there was to know about the Marauders, Lily & Snape during this era.

In these hard times with a new war ahead, where are your loyalties?
The Order of the Phoenix. I'm Dumbledore's girl, through and through (I just finished re-reading HBP, okay?). :)
