Wizards’ world

In which house do you think you belong? Why? I'm a harmoneous blend of Slytherin and Gryffindor. I'm action-oriented, love life, operate based on my emotions, dream big, am passionate about things I like or desire, and will be relentless and stubborn in the pursuit of my goals.
In which house do you think you don’t belong at all? Why? Hufflepuff. They have the traits of all the other houses in healthy moderation. Kind of like Renaissance men. Whereas with myself, my traits are very prominant and I can go to extremes with them.
In which subject would you shine the most? Why? Defense Against Dark Arts and Potions. They're both very hands-on subjects that don't bore you and have a practical applicaton. I bet I'd be a Charms fan, too.
In which of the following families can you see yourself and why?
*Malfoy
*Black
*Potter
*Weasley
Potters. Like James, my mother and father had me late in life and tended to dote on me. Like Lily, despite having my parent's pride and support, certain members of the family did not happen to fancy me. I won't go into the details as the past is the past. At the present, my family is more or less decimated. As mentioned, I was had late in life so most of my relatives were on in years when I was younger. Most are dead now, similar to Harry's situation.

Remember the pensieve incident from book five? [Chapter #28: Snape’s worst memory] What are your thoughts about it?
It didn't surprise me. The way Sirius had acted towards Snape and the way he spoke of him hinted at their tense relationship. I also remember the mention of Sirius sending Snape to go meet his maker at the hands of Remus' transformed form but was stopped only by James who had a lapse of conscience. The subcontext was always there, this scene just spelled it out. I can't say that I approve of it. And what was with Remus' lack of iniative? I do understand that he was hardpressed for friends due to his "fuzzy little problem", but he was allowing them to overstep their bounderies way too much. Personally? I would've been right alongside Lily if I was witnessing the scene. She definitely shot up to my top 5 favorite characters after being so assertive. I just don't get how someone can idly watch as a person is abused like that. In fact, I've been in this situation before, except no wands were involved. It was way back when, but I remember being friends with this boy, Jason Patrini, I believe we were 11 or 12. Our families knew eachother so we had more or less grown up together. He wasn't very popular for god only knows why. He was a decent kid who made me laugh, but whatever. One day a group of boys surrounded him on the playground and started throwing punches. I got myself in there and shielded him. He struggled at first thinking I was attacking along with the rest, but you really can't blame a person when they're in panic mode. I ignored it at the moment (I told him off later. A girl is trying to help you, you don't knee her! God, boys.) and hustled him to the nurse and made a point of sending a group of girlfriends of mine to chase after the gang that had attacked him. With kisses, mind. It was juvenile, but it got them scrambled and bought me the time to get him out of there. He transfered schools the next year and I can't say I blame him.

In this hard times with a new war ahead, where are your loyalties?
With the Order of the Phoenix. I practice enlightened self-interest. A group of individuals with their own agendas on their minds are killing people to blanket their seperate desires because Voldemort offers them the power and connections they need to obtain them. It's a sham; a particularly bloody one. Their victims all had a function in the world they were meant to serve and can't be replaced. We're better off as a whole when we are fullfilling our destinies, not having them be cut-short by sociopaths and men whose ambition has consumed their judgement to the point that the glaring consequence of life in Azkaban at least, execution at most, is far beyond their comprehension. In the end, they'll probably cut down one another, but not before doing irreparable damage to everything around them. They really have to be stopped. However, I'm not the blunt-force violence type of girl and would rather take a less aggressive role of support.

Psst.. if it's all the same, I'd heart being voted as a female character. Thanks much!
