Fortunately, I'd made the cauldron a few weeks ago. Uppercase "C" was designed & stitched this morning...then my scanner died so I had to borrow my kids' camera to take a picture becuase my digital camera is in for repairs!

I have 90% of my last swap block to stitch and then everything is in the mail! Woo!
i had yesterday off with a bad back. Couldn't help myself - ended up at sewing machine. Got my HPC swap finished (YAY!) and most importantly i finished the hand sewing on the wedding dress. Bride is picking it up tomorrow - so that's a good thing ;)
YAY! for finishing the dress! I'm going to finish tonight. I'm sooo close. I will get everything in the mail on time and then I need to work on my BIL's birthday gift.

Yay! I love your block! Hmmm, I wonder why it came out to 5 1/4"? To my knowledge, that's a first.
I use wider lines on my patterns because when I first started paper piecing, I was making copies of patterns and some times the lines would just disappear in the process. I stitch right down the center of each lins and do the same thing when squaring up my blocks at the end.
I do want any feedback you want to provide. Even though I've been sewing for most of my life, I've only been quilting for five years. I started designing about two years ago. I've learned a lot over since I started and I do think my patterns have improved greatly. I'm now editing everything I've already designed to make it the best that I can and easier to follow. That said, there is always room for improvement and feedback is much appreciated!

Hmmm. Weird that it turned out small for me. Maybe it was because I was sewing on the very inside of the line? On a block this small I bet that can add up to 1/4" difference pretty quickly. Overall it was a great block to sew. I know I am really going to enjoy this project when I can steal some moments away to work on it! Thanks so much for providing the patterns. They are amazing.
