OMG, this is so good! This was one of my favorite prompts I left, and I was so excited when I saw it had been claimed. I just love what you did here with the apocalyptic world. Everybody huddling in Hogwarts, the dragons, and the icy ash storms, the flares, and the unreliable magic. It's all very cool!

And the feels with the past H/D! I thought you did a great job showing how much Draco loved him and how much he misses him, while also showing his evolving feelings for Albus.

Harry was dead, and Al was becoming a man. Yess!

Oh dear lord was the sex, hot! Loved them getting trapped together and Al forcing Draco's feelings out of him, and then that glorious, emotional sex. Yes, please!

Very cool fic, and I thought the ending was great! Plus, wee shrunk dragon was too adorable!

Dear Grace. <333 Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! I'm so delighted that I managed to write a thing you enjoyed so much.

Your prompt was very inspiring and triggered so many ideas, writing Dragon Days was really a great adventure I had a lot of fun with. It's my first cross_gen fic (and also the first one including a next_gen character) and I was a bit afraid, but once I started I enjoyed Draco and Al's journey very much, especially scrolling through your list of likes and deciding what would fit the characters and the story.

As writing smut is always a challenge for me (ESL...), I'm over the moon to see it tagged 'glorious' and 'emotional' by you!

I hope Jewel, the dragon, and the rainbows made up for all the ashes. ;)

This was just so cool! I loved this different reality Draco and Al are living, the dragon and storms and magic. So awesome.

I love how Draco felt about Harry, about wanting Al at the same time.

"I hate it when you look at me like that." Al's eyes were narrowed as he gave back the bottle. "I hate it when you look at me and think of him. It makes me feel invisible."

I wanted to hug Al, because he's right, he's his own person, and I know Draco knows that.

and then,

Harry wouldn't hate him for loving his son, but he would hate him for letting Al die.

Too right! :)

I loved it, the ending, the ~little dragon, the wand, the sex. Such a lovely story! :D

The parts you quote are exactly the sentences which made Draco allow himself to fall in love with Al. :) And I'm so glad you mention the wand, I always have so much fun thinking up the details of my AUs that it makes me ridiculously happy when someone finds them noteworthy!

Your comments are always wonderful, and I was high as a kite on endorphines when I read this one. :) Though I really blame Grace, she likes so many things I love myself: boots, leather, gloves, tattoos, scars, getting-together, third person pov, linear timeline, sex in places that aren't bed, cross_gen, intense sex, so it was very much a win-win situation. What a lucky coincedence that all these things appeal to you as much, too!
And yes, Draco needed some persuading, but though he is a bit ambiguous about his feelings for Al, in the end he knows where he belongs. I wanted their journey to London to also be a journey towards each other, I'm glad it worked for you.

I have a very soft spot for the Albus I created for this fic, too. For his insecurity, but also his inner strength which shows in his powerful magic, especially when he uses his dragonbone wand. Ohh, I really enjoyed this AU. My heart was hurting when Al told Draco to look at him and see him, not just Harry. The past Draco/Harry gave me all sorts of feels, and I love that these two are moving forward with each other. Ohh, the sex was hot as well! I'll admit you gave me a heart attack at one point, but I'm really pleased with how this ended :) <3
