Really sweet fic! I thought the format of the fic, with Albus writing down his story and Hugo's comments as he read, was really cool and well done. It was lovely seeing their relationship develop over the years, and the ending was beyond adorable. :)

I enjoy playing with two points-of-view and when I was thinking which of the boys would be telling the story, I thought - well, why not both? :) I struggled with Al a bit, but Hugo just comes right out of my head. :)
I'm so glad you liked the ending - I know it was cheesy, but that's exactly what I was aiming at for once, LOL! :)

This was amazing! Like, I had so much fun and not just that, I felt so much for Al and Hugo through his. God, they went through so much together.

I love that the story starts as their relationship literally starts, when they are these tiny wee little things. I love this:

He kneeled down, so he was closer to my height, and he leaned my present closer so I could admire it. It was… oh… lovely . I saw a tiny doll, just like those Rosie had, only this one was a bit bigger and much prettier. It had porcelain skin and a tuft of bright red hair on the round head - the very same colour that Uncle Ron had. I could barely breathe. I’d always wanted my own doll, but no one would ever buy me one, and Rosie wouldn’t let me play with hers. and how Al immediately thought Hugo as his and never ever stopped feeling that, safe in his arms, looking for him and the comfort Hugo offered. I love that Hugo become just as protective of Al, even more so because Al was such a gentle kid, he had some issues to deal with and needed that protection, but in a

I loved seeing the way you wrote these two, and how you established their bond with each other right from the beggining. Albus was wonderful, and I really like the way you gave us both of their voices throughout this. I've not seen a fic written that way before, and I loved it! I adored your Rose, and Ron too, and I always love reading a supportive and caring Draco as a father, that made my heart sing.

This is not a pairing I've read before, and it was so good to see a rarer ship in this fest, and to see these characters written so adoringly. Amazing work, MA!
