I really loved the characters in this one - though it took me a while to figure out that Lucius was only a portrait, I'm just thick that way, LOL! - and the way you portrayed their Malfoyness. Lucius still getting the respect and the treatment of the head of the family, Narcissa, clearly lonely, but settled in the tracks of her peaceful life and routine, Draco, very much a father-figure to Scorpius transforming into a dutiful son in Lucius's presence - and that lovely rebellious moment of Scorp's when he announces (albeit a tad hysterically because no one seems willing to freak out, LOL), that he's the last of their name - and meets unexpected understanding and appreciation.

Oh, this was good. I loved the Lucius / Draco interaction, and Lucius being unexpectedly lovely to Scorpius. Plus Draco's dry humour was delightful.

omgosh, I enjoyed this so much! I love the way you wrote the dynamic between these three Malfoy men, and the reveal at the end!! I loved that Lucius was not the least bit surprised about the upcoming wedding, and that *no one* was surprised by Scorpius's announcement!! Lovely job, MA, this was so enjoyable <3
