This is interesting. Is it the first of a set of stories based on the stages of grief? I've never read a writer who had George change his appearance before.

Yeah. This was mostly me trying to work these things out and be able to write George again happy...I think I'll have to take him through all the stages...

The changing of appearance was one of those things that I thought magic would be ideal for...sometimes you just want to get away from family resemblances, especially when they hurt that badly.

Thank you! I just don't think personally I can write George as a character post DH without dealing with his grief first.

You're right, poor Hugo doesn't get any of the love! Maybe because the only nex gens we know are either closely related to him or are a Malfoy...yikes!

This was sad...and I thought the Polyjuice Potion was quite plausible, too! Anything to get away from being reminded of the most important person in your life being dead.
