This was cute. Sirius sounds like a kid. I don't know if they go trick or treating in Britain. But Voldemort encounters something like it when we see his memory of killing the Potters. He encounters Halloween decorations and I think a child dressed for Halloween.

I adore Sirius and I like to imagine he was this chubby darling who was a terror.

You're right about the trick or treating - this was written way before DH.

I adore enterprising young Sirius here! It feels very in character. And poor Reg NEVER wins, does he?
Can I ask a favor? There is a poster called leochi who is a teacher by trade and an artist by avocation. She has started a new communinty called yay-potterkids for totally kid safe stories and art in the Potterverse. This would be perfect there and if you connect it to one of the prompts on this table like chocolate or yummy, leochi will illustrate it eventually.

I'm glad you liked Sirius here. He's one of my favorite characters - as is his little "baby" brother :D

I've had several "conversations" with leochi to clarify what she wants. Cross-posting and previously posted stories are welcome, even encouraged. leochi understands artists desire for feedback. She is only asking that people post their directly because she is trying to "contain" that site as much as she can so that kids aren't in danger of wandering into posts that are inappropriate.
Actually, since leochi is somewhat shy, and I'm a squib but shameless, she's been encouraging me to pimp the community!
