Oh so impressed with this. I've actually got tears in my eyes for the Bloody Baron!!

The food imagary was so sensual, I could feel every drip of juice on the chin, every bubble of chocolate souffle on the tongue.

Just lovely. Brava. You certainly exceeded the remit. Thank you so much.

If the point of the challenge was to make the writer feel something other than annoyance or indifference for a character, this one worked very well.

Until I had actually started thinking about the eternity of a ghost, I don't think I realized how terribly sad it was -- how empty. The Bloody Baron isn't even liked by the other ghosts. I can't imagine being that alone. Forever.

Thanks for the lovely words and for issuing the challenge. I really enjoyed writing this.

Thank you so much.

That first paragraph was the last thing I wrote. I had no idea how to open the fic. The idea came to me after I wrote the summary line. Oddly, it's my favorite part of the fic.

Thanks again for reviewing and also for reccing me in your live journal. It was a great thing to wake up to.

That was brilliant. Chilling and painful and, well, haunting. That idea scared me so much...the constant existing without ever feeling anything, and being around beings who take the one thing you long for--life--for granted. That must be torture of the worst kind. No wonder he's bitter!

Truly amazing fic there. I'm sure I'll be coming back to re-read this again and again.

Wow. Thanks.

No one really ever pays attention to the ghosts, and I thought it would be interesting to concentrate on them a bit. I can't imagine choosing that sort of existence and I started to wonder if they didn't spend eternity regretting it.

Thanks again for the lovely words. I'm so happy you enjoyed it.

*Brrr* I don't know whether to feel pity for the Bloody Baron, or just really, really creeped out.

You're right about this being a bit different from your usual fare, but it's still damn good.

Thank you.

It was different for me, but one must mix it up a bit. This stuff can get really dull otherwise.

Thanks again for reading and reviewing.

Take care,

I join with those who loved it. It was magnificent. One gets a grasp upon what it is to be a ghost and to be in the torment of constant want surrounded by that which you crave. It is interesting how each ghost had their own personal want. Fittingly so ^_^

Thank you so much.

They deserve a little time the spotlight, don't you think. It can't be an easy way to spend eternity.

Thanks again for the lovely words.
