Sometimes, one comes across fic that isn't fic, but art. This is gorgeous.

Aww. *blushes* Thanks. I was playing around with an idea I had before, of breaking up fic by different ways. I've used time before, breaking the fic into bits and disjointing them, but I wanted to convey an utterly broken mind, but using a theme - blood- to tie it together.

I'm rambling, but I'm glad it worked in some small part. I love knowing that it's effective and not pretentious wangst.

Wow. Just beautiful in its lack and fragmentation.

Thank you.

*is speechless for a moment* I wish I could write like you. Just...wow. Amazing, I cannot convey how much I liked it.

And to think I only really clicked because of your icon. You see there are so many fics of H/D that I don't really look at them anymore, but...I liked the icon and I read it and it was wonderful.

Oh. I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier - I've been swamped with RL and then the book...

Thank you SO MUCH for this - it's just so wonderful I don't know how to review coherently. A beautiful description of a tortured mind, broken into pieces.

utterly fantastically gorgeous.

It's no problem - I'm not a huge fan of this piece, but we'll come to that in a sec - kudos on your book! I will be reading, as I imagine everyone else will, except I will go through the rigmarole of ordering it in Waterstones, and blushing painfully as my ex-boss asks too loudly, 'what? You want an EROTIC Regency?' The things we do for a hot read. :-)

The piece. Mm. I am falling out of love with it, fast. I almost wrote Sirius and Remus, Remus's collection of newspapers - I will, one of these days, when RP and my own book don't swamp me to the point of 'cannot *breathe*, give the girl AIR!' and I'm writing again. That on top of HBP which has given me ideasthatmakemyimaginationcryinpain, 'oh noooo', it says, 'for you were sixteen pages forward in your CHAPTER'. But yes. I divert.

Thank you for the praise. I think the imagery is a bit too gaudy. I might experiment next time with toning it down, getting it sleeker. And I'm going to post Contraposto here, because I was stupid. And didn't.

Hee - thank you! I don't know for sure whether it will be available at Waterstones - but I hope so! It will be on amazon (i think!) Not actually sure of anything yet. Got the contract, and now comes the negotiating and blah blah blah.

Gaudy imagery? Pah! It's what wwe live for!

:)
