Got to reply here too, now I've read it again and again. The imagery is perfect, Lucius becoming obsessed with the ink black of his hair, the parchment skin - and having to shun these things, these things he has loved all his life. Of course Tom reminds him (in my sick mind) of another boy with dark hair and pale skin... sigh)

Just beautiful. A real book lover's piece.

He should not reach out and stroke the smooth-as-ink black hair or the parchment-pale skin, should not bend his head low to catch the whisper of words rustling from that perfect throat.

I love your Tom. It's like he's not really there, but... I almost feel sorry for poor Lucius. Used and shunned and then cut off. But that was a lush moment of it. Wonderful. =)
