This is lovely -- I particularly like the image of Tom and the Northern Lights.

Guh! The beauty and the cruelty and the way you compare abstract pain, forgetting the real feeling of it, to avada kedavra and other pretty words. I love the image of Tom getting punched and remembering the lights and the pain as he passes blood. And Severus! Oh, poor Severus. Lovely job.
