It seems only appropiate that Sirius be seduced by the twins this way. :) It's payback in a sense, for after all, was it not the map that he helped create that made the twins themselves legends also at Hogwarts? Legend beguiled by myth. And yet at the same time, even though he's the center of attention, he feels left out in the cold, sad and old, not re-living his life thru them, but only the memories of what it was like to be young, and on the brink of life's great journey.

You write some of the best endings ever. One or two sentences, and it's like "wham bam thank you ma'am"! Seriously, that's a good thing. ;)

Legend beguiled by myth.

What a brilliant way of putting it. It's the tragdey of Sirius that he can't quite get past being myth and into being a person again, he's forgotten how.
