I...I don't think I've ever been so enraged by such a good story.

I love you. I think I said that after the Regulus/Hermione, but I really really mean it.

Thank you! (If it got you mad, the story did what it was supposed to do.)

Oh, it totally did. But I'm not used to good stories making me angry; most of the time when a fic makes me all RAWR RACHEL SMASH it's because it's a breeding ground for comma faults or it has a persistent canon error or three.

This one actually makes me want to destroy a fictional government, which is a real trip when taken with my general desire to destroy my REAL government, heh.

OMGWOW!

*falls over dead*

It really wouldn't surprise me if canon!Ministry did things like that. I think you have hit the nail right on the head, if you will pardon a little cliche. Great work!

It wouldn't surprise me either. I've worked in state and federal bureaucracies and neither was quick to accept changes. I can just see the Ministry not knowing what to do about a man who had been bitten by a werewolf and yet wasn't a werewolf. I think that they would do as they do here--treat him like a werewolf by default.

And thank you very much!

This is wonderfully done. You really paint a picture with only the dialouge, and the Ministry worker and the regulations sound scarily likely.
The idea that the Wolfsbane potion is slow poison... *shudder*
I think I'll rec this in my journal, if you don't mind. =)

Why would I mind being recced? Feel free!

The wolfsbane thing has been bothering me since PoA, since aconite, or wolfsbane, is poisonous, and it's traditionally supposed to keep werewolves at bay, or even kill them. At last I decided that Wolfsbane Potion was the wizarding world's equivalent of the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment.

Ouch. Heartbreaking, I have tears in my eyes at the horribleness (and complete in characterness of this.)

There is nothing more scary than bureaucracy, that's for sure.

Well done, hon.

Someone needs to save Remus!!!

Having worked in state and federal bureaucracies, I have to agree.

Someone needs to save Remus!!!

Someone TOTALLY needs to save Remus. Poor boy. Life has been cruelly unfair to him.

Well done, hon.

Thank you!

I don't think I've ever read a fic that got me so angry on behalf of a character. And I agree with the poster who commented that they could see the Ministry being exactly like that in canon.

Ugh, the attitude of the Ministry is just disgusting.

It is. It so is. Oh, well, at least Fleur got even to a degree.

Glad you liked it.
