Sleep spiralled off into endless corridors of dreams, like a helix, like an open hand without another one.
Don't know why, but that has to be my favorite line. It's so original, I think, and I love the open hand imagery. So many of your descriptions were like that, though, so I don't know if I should play favorites. Haha. While I was reading this, it made me think of films where the directior has played around with light filters. Everything was hazed in a kind of dirty, baltic blue, and the edges were fuzzy.
That sounds a bit...odd...but that's what I got from your writing. In a good way! It was wonderful - to have that kind of light - because it was enhancing. Anyway, I really liked it. Great job.
Wow, thank you so much. It doesn't sound odd; I see where you're coming from, I think. :) I'm flattered that my writing inspired something as intense as that. In fact, your comment has made me feel really good. :)
It's also one of those stories that are enhanced with quiet. I was in the library when I found it, and got to read to whole thing in blessed, peaceful silence. Stories read so much differently when I'm not frantic - being at the library let me relish the words. Is that weird? Haha.
Have you written anything else? I would love to read it!
(Can I friend you? I would without asking, but I don't want to be rude. I think I'd be a bit weirded out if some random person liked a story I wrote and BAM! You know?)
Ooh, I can imagine that reading a story in the library must be nice. :) It's strange, though; I've always felt uncomfortable in libraries once I kind of... grew out of the one I always went to as a child. I don't know why. Maybe I'm just a little tense there because I don't want to make any noise. It's actually quite a shame that I don't go that often anymore!
Of course I've written other things, well, but maybe I should ask you first which pairings you like? ;)
That's nice of you to ask, certainly you can friend me. I love getting to know new people. :) If that's okay, I'll friend you back then.
WHAHAHAHAHAH ? BZUH? Again, how did I miss this. (Well, silly question I did spend a lot of time *not* being in fandom).
AMAZING. You're Regulus is SO your Regulus and I heart the way you write him and how casually cruel Sirius is and just the layers of meaning between the three of them. EVERYTHING.
