That was beautiful. The style of the narrative was very appropriate for Snape, I think ... very dry but lovely, at the same time. I also loved the ambiguity of it ... there were a lot of suggestions, hints at pairings but I think it made the story more effective that things weren't reduced (clarified?) to romance, if that makes sense. Lovely read, I really enjoyed it.

Thank you! I'm glad the ambiguity worked -- I think there are some hints at attraction in various directions, here, but I didn't want to resolve that explicitly.
