oh, yay, i liked that! i am a strong believer in remus+sirius4eva!!1!, but i also really like remus/tonks, and i have seen very few fics that manage to combine the two and do it believably and well. thanks for posting this!

Thank you!

And I will take your word for it about the milk, and have changed it, but ... why?

No, I appreciate the Britpicking, I'm just curious. Don't you run out of milk really fast, then? Or do you buy several pints? Or what? Milk does come in pints, too, here, but I wouldn't buy it that way unless I just needed a little bit of a particular kind of milk for a recipe; I usually buy a quart (2 pints) or a gallon as part of my weekly grocery shopping.

i think this is absolutely beautiful. it's exactly how remus should be portrayed, since he's filled with so much pain. i love it

Oh wow, this just made my afternoon. It's so perfectly them, and everything good Remus/Tonks ought to be. Thanks for sharing this.

I loved this. It was all wonderful, especially Remus standing so helplessly in the market. I'm still trying to learn how not to add up things like that, and decide what I will do without, and I love that touch of realism. I have a huge soft spot for Remus' poverty, and the simple sort of belly hunger that he must feel in a situation like this, with a warm flat and a place to feel at home, is just gorgeous and real.

Thank you! It's complicated for him, yes. I'm glad it feels realistic to you.
