Oh that's beautiful! I love the dread certainty of it - and yet, despite that, the room for a little hope, a sliver of a possibility that there could be another outcome (particularly if Ginny does as she wants and not as she was asked). Powerful stuff.

Thank you very much! I don't claim to understand Ginny very well -- I honestly don't know whats she'd choose, but the possibility fascinates me. Kind of a test of what sort of love is stronger: is obeying what the other person wants above yourself love, or is loving them so much that you have to protect them stronger?

I have issues with them as well (esp. Ginny), but I wanted to care about them, so the fact that you did is a very high compliment. Thank you!

Oh, beautiful. There's something desperate about them both here, and I love the way you portray Ginny, passionate and terrified and determined.

The image of the thunder calling Harry to his death, and "tonight is a dying night" - these are wonderful touches. Absolutely gorgeous, and it's so rare to see this kind of thing with Harry and Ginny as the pairing!

Thank you very much! I've never written the pairing (I have to admit, at first, HBP scared me from thinking of it for a wile), but this came pretty naturally to me, as H/G isn't really fluffy or traditional at all (or at least in my mind).
