Very Nice! I really enjoyed your portrayals of both Minerva and Poppy. You captured the conversation of two people who have known each other a long time. Their differing views of Snape was logical and well done. Their conversation was smooth, lively and captured their voices. I enjoyed this.

Mystery Author, I've gladly recommended your fanfic at Harry Potter Fanfiction Recs.

Congrats on the great job! This was a pleasure to read and I truly loved the characterisations. :-)

That was wonderful, very uplifting and witty, with just the right amount of background terror appropriate for the events in DH. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The interaction between Minerva and Poppy is delightfully entertaining, Luna is very in character (and that's hard to achieve), I also loved the little glimpses into Snape's personality. I can't imagine he would have watched the Carrows destroy the students one Crucio at a time.
My favourite line comes from Luna ("You know, Erumpets. Rather like very large rhinoceros. They might be drawn to the castle if Madam Pomfrey sings. Which might be lovely, but it would be a shame if they had their mating season here and one of the classrooms was blown up, and - "), although I was hysterical when I read Poppy's attempts at rhymes.
Thank you so much for this excellent piece!

I so do love stories of the DH-school-year and how Snape manages to "work both sides"... yours is very well done, all the characterizations are so spot on (you caught Luna's way to speak so exactly). Congratulations and thank you so much!

I truly enjoyed this description -- your description of Snape I found particularly well done. I enjoyed the little glimpse you gave us into how he dealt with his stay at Hogwarts, the subtle alliance with Poppy and the sneaky way of communcating hints. And the short glimpses of Neville and Luna I found equally delightful!

Apart from that, Poppy's own story was adorable. :) And you'll leave here like an Expelliarmus/Hum-hum-hum, and never harm us indeed.... terrible. :D
