Ah, it's lovely to see Ginny's development here. I've always been a fan of her, but I found her sudden metamorphosis in OotP surprising, so it's great to see the backstory you've created. It's very plausible.

I also liked your characterisations of the other Weasleys, and the way you handled Percy. Arthur levitating Ginny and her trunk is a lovely moment, too.

I am shocked to realize I haven't commented here before. It's such a powerful fic, and it places Ginny at such a memorable time. I love how childish she is, how bewildered, but still with so much knowledge. And the way she sees her family--especially Molly--makes it very interesting. Thank you for sharing!

On, a very nice look at a scene missing from the books. It could well have happened like this. For some reason, Arthur's serious demenaour really hit home. And, as you say, a side of Molly that Ginny might never have seen before. Lovely!

There's a lot of Ginny-story that could do with filling in, and this is a nice little missing scene -- and with a nod forward to Molly's fighting prowess too. :)
