This piece was very jolly. The word is perfect for it, good humored, in keeping with the season and the title of the story. I loved the Robert Herrick reference and I really liked how you fleshed out the characters in a short piece. Everyone seemed very real and alive.

Thank you! It ended up being a lot more lighthearted than what I normally write, so it was a nice change!

First of all, wheee!! And thank you for including all of the Marauders and Lily (and for giving Lily, James and Sirius 'extra' screentime!)! :D

I love this! (And he's probably right...!)

I'm imagining the four boys decorating the tree 'manually', accompanied by alcohol, and it's just too funny - "The things we do for your wife" - bless!

This is whole piece definitely jolly, as vegablack62 noted above... I love how the feeling of winter & the holiday season throughout the story. And the banter between everyone put such a smile on my place. <3 Lily being the one to ask Sirius to be godfather to Harry was hilarious - "I suppose you'll have to do" - LOL! But rather sweet, as well. Thank you, thank you for this wonderful snapshot of "Marauder life" (and their friendships, before it all went sour), it definitely fits with the "light & hopeful" tone that I requested!

Thank you -- I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I love writing the boys together, and although most of my fic tends to be rather dark, I quite enjoyed writing them being happy for a change. ;)

Hi! :D! Thank you again for this wonderful story - the "MWPP" friendship is one of my favourite things about the HP series, and you've portrayed it so beautifully and poignantly! I read this again before I made the second comment and it was just Christmas warmth & perfection all over again. (By the way, I'm sorry if my prompt was a bit vauge - I went into too much detail for the last exchange, and ended up going the other extreme this time around! Eeep!) ♥
