*shivers* wow. You painted such a vivid picture in so few words. It's frightening to think of that much - of that KIND - of knowledge just being handed over to Tom. But time and time again, the case is made for how charismatic he was, and I suppose that it wouldn't matter to Crowley anyway.

This story was strange and heady, and I loved Tom's canny mix of the Muggle and Wizard worlds - I always thought he was too smart to ignore the devastating power of Muggle science, particularly during WWII and afterwards.
