Wow, thank you for the review. I'm glad you liked the characterizations, and especially pleased about Peter since I hemmed and hawed before finally producing something that felt right and fitting to the entire thought of Harry.

As for Lily's idea, I agree and it's one of the possibilities I wanted to explore, considering the 'protecting Harry' theme. :) I'm glad you liked it, and I'm so grateful for giving it a chance. Thank you again! :D

This is a truly beautiful story, very well-written, and I love how it gives a lot of different viewpoints to a lot of things that happened around that fateful time in the story. I really liked your section on Peter, although it was horrible, seeing his deed justified in his own eyes.

I do have one teeny little correction to make, though. Harry is actually 16 months old when his parents are killed, not 4 months. He was born in 1980 and they were killed in 1981. That, however, is a minor point and has absolutely nothing to do with the beauty of the story itself. You did a marvelous job and I'm glad I read this.

*groan* I fail miserably. You're right, I spent a freakishly long time putting together the entire timeline, especially since I researched Judas Priest and all, and still forgot that Harry was supposed to be older. Goes to show how much I can forget. Thanks for pointing it out to me!

That was wonderful! I loved the structure, with each Marauder having time with Harry, and their time with him showcasing so much more about them. I loved that Remus wouldn't touch him! Man, that was so powerful. And Sirius was perfect, and Peter, ohhhh! Believing James and Lily would be spared! So, so good. :)

Thank you! I was admittedly nervous about the structure; it's been used so much before but I'm not sure if I could pull it off nicely enough. I'm glad you liked the sections, and I confess that one of my favorites is Sirius'. Peter's too, but mostly because of sheer difficulty. And yay, you liked Remus' characterization! I'm really glad and flattered you liked it. :D

This gave me chills especially towards the end when Lily's panic was rising and she was thinking of who would look after Harry when she died, interesting because they all did in a way. I thought Peter's perspective was especially interesting, with him thinking James and Lily would be spared if Harry was sacrificed. Excellent characterizations all around. Great job, mystery writer. :)

Oh, wow. This is completely beautiful and fabulous ... I loved the intertwined stories and different points of view, and wow. The ending was so powerful and this all was just amazing. Beautiful writing, mystery author!
