This is wonderful. It is so engaging from the start. I adore the idea of James and Sirius causing an international incident. Marlene was fantastic. I loved her. The action was well done and the friendships laced with the tension of the war. You showed the growing seriousness well. And the beginning and ending created a very well-done circle.

I really liked this. I left it till last because I wanted to settle down and read it properly and I'm glad I did. Your settings work very well and I like the way you blend the seriousness of war with the little humours of everyday life. It was also nice to see the members of the original order (and the phoenix feathers were a fitting touch) - especially Marlene, who was very clearly characterised.
