Thank you, mystery author! This is really, really lovely. I love stories about Andromeda and Narcissa's post-war reconciliation, and this is an especially nice one, the way their sisterhood can overcome all the problems of the past, and the mirroring of situation at the beginning and the end was lovely.

"That's fine - I can't imagine that your family would want to see me," Harry told her.

"Yes, we've only just replaced the carpet that was ruined last time you visited. I'd rather not replace it so soon."

Oh, what a wonderful fic! I love your characterisation of both Narcissa and Andromeda; how similar they really are, despite everything that's happened in the intervening years. I like to believe they reconciled. And I find Narcissa utterly fascinating as a character.
