Thank you so much for bringing the fest back! I went to AO3 and nominated some characters but found the five character thing rather limiting - those are not the only characters I suggest I can write or would want to receive a ficelt on. I mean much as I find it limiting when people are very adamant there they are only interested in writing and receiving a particular ship, I find it equally constraining if the pool of characters is very limited. I found that in the past it was a good compromise to say that at least three or four major characters need to be in the sign up but beyond that I found it was good opportunity if there were also a few more minor characters on offer. I hope it can stay that way. Thank you again!
Honestly we're playing it by ear, but we started with 50 characters that I put in, and I figured that with all the people nominating, we have a pretty large pool anyway. Having said that give me a list here and I'll see what I can do.
No, that sounds reasonable what you said so far. I didn't mean to come across as complaining or anything. Like I said, very grateful you are doing this! It was mainly that I wasn't quite sure, when I went to nominate characters at AO3 only 5 characters seemed to have been put in there prior to me submitting my list and then it said that my nominations would need to be reviewed, which was okay fine. I also wasn't sure if that was just a preliminary thing or the sign-up. Because as I said I am surely willing to write other characters. Thank you for understanding.

The five characters is only a limit for nominating characters and the archive is set up that I need to review all of them to ensure that they are correct, so there isn't anyone nominating the Doctor as a character (I took inspiration from your icon). At this point we're up to 82 characters, but again if there are characters you think I missed let me know.
