Definitely not a first date, but certainly a new relationship (given Harry's uncertainty about Severus' favourite Halloween sweets and his adorably shy, "Would you like it to be?"). Cute, but the real carrot here for me is their obvious grown-up friendship. I adore how they seem so comfortable with each other with Harry having aged. THAT is what makes me want to read more of this story post-fest (if you're willing to expand it, that is). <3
