So sad and perfectly in character for both of them. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, thank you! My Sirius and Remus's story is bound to be sad (and perhaps a lot of Sirius's happier memories, too, can be partly sad enough for him not to have lost them due to the Dementors, after all), and I'm glad you regard the two of them here as IC.

Very much in character, and I love the last line.

Thank you so much! As I'm still addicted to writing fics about these two, it's wonderful to get feedback like this - on how I write them in OotP era, and even on the line about the 1970's moment.

So bittersweet.

Thank you for this comment! <3 You've made me realise that bittersweet is perhaps exactly what works for Sirius to remember, and what works for my story about these two.

So in-character for both; we get a powerful sense of both their weariness and their bond. Nice job!

What a wonderful comment! Besides reassuring me about the IC-ness (of these two, whom I've developed for a long time, as you know), you've made me realise that the word before the last one refers to a state both characters are in at the moment, too, and that - despite the friction - their interaction reveals an essential, close connection. Thank you so much!
