The full moon turned his face a bluish-white, that softened and smoothed the deep lines and severe edges, making him look both younger and kinder.

Or maybe that was the alcohol and Harry's smitten heart.

This was lovely! The inclusion of the playful wolf and the dog there at the end, who were metaphors for Sirius and Remus (who I'm guessing are dead in this A/U), lending Harry their courage so he could try for something with Severus was beautiful!
