Oooh, you went with the soul cakes!!! I absolutely adore the idea that Draco would visit Harry three years after the war to ask him to share soul cakes for Dumbledore and Snape with him. And that Harry would ask him in, and they together make this a ritual of forgiveness. Wonderful. I love the image of the sand grains in the timer - as if enough time had passed, not only for the cakes to be ready, but also for old enemies to put the past aside. Thank you for this unexpected treat! ♥
