The tombs are my headcanon, actually, and I really enjoyed being able to convert others explore that a little bit more. And, of course, I love to think that there's a lot more to Hogwarts, the Founders, and magic than what we were shown in the books.

Oooh I love this creative use of magic and wards. I can very much see this being a thing at Hogwarts, that the Founders leave one additional thing with their deaths. Of course Helga's would be love; I wonder if Rowena's is studiousness and Godric's courage (which are both very useful come exam time, along with the feeling of being loved). Really well done and well written.

Thank you! <3 I love to think that there's a lot more to Hogwarts, the Founders, and magic than what we're shown in the books, and this managed to explore that a little bit. It was really fun to come up with, and quite a challenge to fit it into 200 words!

Godric's is sacrifice - the whole thing about being buried on Hogwarts' grounds and sealing the wards with their deaths was his idea - and Rowena's is secrecy. Salazar was supposed to be longevity, which is the implied weakness: because he wasn't buried in his tomb, the wards can fail.
