Title: Remembering

Summary: Ginny visit Harry on Halloween to take his mind off unhappy memories.
Ginny settled next to Harry and squeezed his hand. “You’re freezing. How long have you been out here?”
“A while.” Harry kissed Ginny and wrapped his arms around her. “I didn’t hear the door. When did you get back?”
“Just. It’s a flying visit.” Ginny stretched her legs out and leaned back, looking up at the sky. “I thought I might help take your mind off things or just keep you company. Whatever you want.”
“Take my mind off things?” Harry grinned and held Ginny closer still. “Any ideas how that might go?”
“A few.” Ginny grinned and ruffled Harry’s hair. She brushed her lips against his neck and sighed as she breathed in his familiar scent - soapy and clean.
“Perhaps we should go indoors, then?” Harry squeezed Ginny’s hand again, and the eager look on his face made Ginny laugh.
“You’ve cheered up.”
“Funny, that.” Harry tangled his hand in Ginny’s hair and pulled her into a deep kiss.
She melted against him as she always did when Harry kissed her - firm, sure and as if every kiss was their first.
“I’m glad I came back.”
“Yeah.” Harry rubbed his thumb over Ginny’s cheek and pulled her closer for another dizzying kiss. “Me, too.”
