Oh, C. What a compelling story in 200 words! You know I love fics that deal with what it must be like to be a squib--Filch, the method behind his particular brand of madness, his mother, raising three on her own, barely magically powerful enough to hold a job herself (love that detail), Filch's memory of her and the power she had to offer a wish, one day a year.
