What a terrific story! I really enjoyed this look at the Malfoys through Harry's eyes, and seeing Muggles from Draco's POV was great, too. I can quite imagine the Malfoys abandoning their Squib children to the Muggle world and pretending that they were dead, and Narcissa silently yearning for her lost boy.

Now the important question - is Andy Murray from Scottish Wizarding stock? Enquiring minds need to know.

Glad you liked it. As for Andy Murray - I think that there is a good possibility (although I have to confess that, despite being Scottish, I will always prefer Federer)!

I really enjoyed this one!

It makes perfect sense, and Draco and Harry are just spot-on.

'Why on earth would holding something that looks like a chair leg show you're the king?'

That line cracks me up, all the more so since it is a chair leg.

Kudos,
L

Very glad you liked it - thank you! The chair leg is quite genuine - kudos to the college for leaving it up, I think.

Nice job! I didn't know any of that about Cambridge but I really enjoyed the way you worked that in, and Harry's confusion about "dead" relatives seemed completely believable. New jargon like "Paramagical" and Snape having to be the go-between were also really engaging details. And the part about Malfoy infuriatingly landing on his feet was either a great use of Pottermore or just you having a really good feel for the characters--I liked it either way. Very well done.

This story was absolutely brilliant. I've completely fallen in love with Severin, and I really do hope that mystery author writes more about him. I really like how Harry comes to the realization that Malfoys adapt, and that Draco's transformation is both gradual and believable. I think your characterizations of everyone were flawlessly canon, and the world you paint for both muggles and wizards is amazing.

Brilliant fic. I really cannot put into words how great I think it is.

I'm so glad you liked Severin - I became very fond of him myself as I was writing this, and I hoped he might win a few fans! And yes, I do have plans for more stories about him - would you like me to keep you informed?

what a lovely story that one is! It provides an insight to what some wizarding families did with their squib relatives. Severin is such a lovely character, unharmed by Luscious's hands he was allowed to develop and become such a lovely young man.

As for Federer...*sigh* what a shame that whatever magic blood he has, it all seems to be wearing off..:'( :(

Yes, Severin definitely got the better bargain of the two brothers in terms of upbringing! I'm very glad you liked him, and the story.

And I do have a horrible feeling that I have jinxed Federer by writing this :-( I suppose even wizards get old - sadly!
