Bond's dialogue was still great, and I loved the details about Shakespeare and the depiction of Lockhart. Moody's offhand "I'm seventy-eight" was another nice contrast between the Muggle and magical worlds too. Well done!
Bond and Moody are spot-on, and the fact the the older wizard teaches the young whippersnapper something in the end is great.
And I love the bonding (no pun intended) over food. Closet hedonists, the pair of them.

Oh this is so completely, exactly just what I wanted to read for years!!! Nobody had to tell me that M and Amelia are just so alike :-) - I saw Judi as well in my mind when I read about Amelia in HP. Your descriptions of the different homes are wonderful, and Bond is marvellously done - and the end is as perfect as it can be, given the canon deaths....
Glad my Bond worked for you. I had not seen Daniel Craig in the role before watching the ones with Dench. He might even be better than Connery, and I never thought I'd say that.
