I clicked both for the second question, because I can see good reasons for either. Anon prompting makes sure that prompts get chosen instead of people. You know, like, people you like and who are known well could be more likely to be chosen because of who they are and not because of their prompt. So if the prompts were anon, it'd be all about the prompt and its merrit and not the prompter.
On the other hand, knowing who the prompt is from could help make it more perfect for the promptee, although... since this is no gift exchange... *has lost train of thought*
It can be so hard to do anonymous art; people have very recognisable styles. As for the prompting, when that bunny bites, it doesn't matter who gave it the lettuce. But, hooray! for art!
