Ooh, the colours! But what I love best here is the fact that you've boxed him in, that there's a margin and we only see the vague outlines of the rest of his body and the background outside that margin. I think that reflects his state of mind perfectly, him feeling trapped and all. Beautiful!

I love how the expectations are all coming from the portraits, that sense of family and history and heritage, but in this case it's working negatively on Regulus. So much emotion in his expression, and yes, I too like the boxed in margin.

This is a really interesting piece. There's a lot to look at, and a lot of story in his pose and the paintings. I like the way you've framed this, and that you let the colors and lines fade away and blend together. It reflects Regulus' state of mind so well, that he feels suppressed by his family. I like that al the painting-people are looking back at him, unhappy and judging.
