this is by far one of the best chansoo fics I have ever ever read. I LOVE THAT THEY WHERE IN SLYTHERIN BECAUSE YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I LOVE THAT CHANYEOL WAS TRYING TO IMPRESS STUCK UP SOO FOR YEARS I LOVE THAT CHANYEOL FINALLY CALLED HIM OUT ON HIS CRAP I LOVE HOW YOU CRAFTED THIS WORLD INTO THE ONE HP READERS ALREADY KNEW IT WAS JUST SO BRILLIANT. emotional idiot do kyungsoo is a perennial favorite of mine and this sledge hammered the nail right on the head because ofc chanyeol had been trying for YEARS and ofc kyungsoo was the most oblivious person on the planet. just thank you so much for writing such a lovely story. I also love how you didn't sugar coat kyungsoo's failures as a person and how he grew out of them and had to get the courage he needed to be a non racist asshat.

I'm glad my take on the HP universe worked for you. I'm a huge fan of the books so I tried my hardest :3 I'm also really happy Kyungsoo's character growth actually showed. I was freaking about that whether I was doing it right while writing this fic a lot.

You should read the books! They are absolutely amazing. I joined this exchange mostly because it was a HP one. I like Exo but my love for HP is so much stronger. The Hp ficdom is also probably one of the best there is; amazing quality fics everywhere ;;

Oh deary me, I read this like twice so literally I spent all day glued to my phone. Everyone's comments are so long so I'll try and keep it simple ><

I loved it. The fact that you set it in the post-Harry era and explained how all their families settled there. I was afraid to think that they might have just gone to hogwarts for no apparent reason but it was all there ;o;

I loved every reference you made that was from the original series, from the magical creatures to the jobs and even the characters. You must like HP!verse very much :o I remember the days when I was that much into the series--

I'm really glad you liked this. I did take liberties with your prompt so I was quite worried whether you'll be satisfied with it or not., especially since I haven't written any Chanyeol/Kyungsoo fics before.

I planned the fic quite carefully and double-checked facts. It was quite a ride but a really fun one. I love the original books and HP fics in general. Try re-reading the books and the love will come back before you even blink lol

I absolutely adored this. The relationship dynamic was spot on, Jongdae was a troll, I LOVED all the details of history and setting and character and the plot was so complex and rich and detailed. The way you really did make it a successor to the Deathly Hallows was perfect. I want to read this all over again.

Don't worry, I'm a mess myself when it comes to HP. It's pretty much the only fandom I've never left. I adore post-hogwarts fics so I did everything I could to turn the prompt I received into a post-hogwarts one lol

I'm glad the characters were believable for you. The Chensoo was my guilty pleasure. I don't even ship them but they were really fun to write.
I imagine that no matter what it'd take longer than a few years for the whole prejudice against Slytherin to go away, considering how the books ended. And at the same time the Slytherin disdain for Muggle-borns would still be present in the background, although considerably less strong.

It was my first time writing Chansoo so I'm really happy their characters dynamics worked for you.
