Awww! I really enjoyed this. I don't read much Marauders era fic, but this was great! I never really imagined a friendship between Narcissa and Severus at school, but this makes a lot of sense :) I really liked how protective of Severus Narcissa was, and she's FIERCE, dude! ;) This really makes me want to draw Narcissa again, so... thanks for a great fic, and the inspiration :D

Very interesting fic. Your Narcissa was fierce, and her protectiveness for Severus made sense, considering how protective she is of Draco.

I'm so sorry i didn't comment on this earlier! I hadn't realized some one filled this prompt!

This was really beautiful look at narcissa, so caring and sharp yet a bit cruel. you really captured her well. Also i love the voices of the characters, Severus was just as i always imagined him as a boy and James and sirius were on point as well.

my favorite section is the last part:
He feels her body shift a bit beside him, and her fingers tighten their grip in his hair, but not enough to hurt.

“Hush,” she says, primly, and he does.

I think you captured the prompt beautifully but those last lines really brought it home. Simply Marvelous!
