This was beautiful. I've (obviously, I think?) never read the pairing before, but I really, really liked this. It was incredibly well-written, and that you managed to tell such a story in only about 800 words is... amazing.

A beautiful, poignant description. Septima and her first (or not quite) impulsive act; the sudden ending; the comfort from numbers only. Very believable, all of it.

And the sadistic Carrows - what a ghastly thing for Septima, to learn it like that.
