This was astounding! I absolutely loved your dark!Draco, particularly with the backstory of both him and Hermione that we are given. Hermione's suffered so much loss it's not surprising she turned as she did, and I only wonder what Harry feels.

I suppose, despite how tragic the ending is, that Hermione got what she wanted in the end, so in a way, it's a happy ending? For her, anyway - goodness knows how Draco reacted to that! I really loved this story so, so much. I loved how you described Hermione's reactions in relation to the drug, and how she responded to Draco. What I liked even more was the bondage and sensory deprivation added in -- that was a lovely treat to read!

Absolutely amazing fic, and you needn't be worried this was your first time writing het, because it was incredible! Very well done! :D Totally reccing this on my journal.

Hi! I really do hope you enjoyed it. It's always fun to see one of your prompts made real. I'm sorry it was a bit convoluted in the middle, I'm still very new at this, this being my third ever fic. I hope I am getting a bit better as I go along- I certainly feel like I'm learning a lot :)

I'd edit it quite a lot again if given another go! And thank you for being so gracious. I've seen several of your prompts around the fests, you must read a lot of fic :D I'm glad I could have a go at writing something for you <3

This was only your third fic? Wow, you're pretty good for your third!

And yes, I read and write a lot of fic :P Again, thank you so much for this :)

Great job for your first time writing het! And also, great job with the entire story. I liked your emo!addicted!Hermione, and her downfall was plausibly constructed. The magical drug was a nice invention, and Draco...my my. Lovely bad, evil, manipulating Draco.

Draco was a true prick, wasn't he? And I had to make poor Hermione's past truly tragic to make it a bit believable that she would turn to drugs, lol. Thank you so much for letting me know you liked the fic. <3 It's my third ever :) and its great encouragement to keep trying.

This deserves more comments :(

Definitely keep writing, and keep dipping your toe over in the het pool even though I see your love is Drarry :P

You just completely blew my mind. I normally don't even read dark nc-17 stories, but I was checking out the community and there were only a couple of Dramione stories, so I just ignored the raiting and the warnings and read your story. I so did not regret it. Your story is beautifully written. I really felt sorry for Hermione and even a little bit for Draco (even though he was obviously being a complete bastard). But I think what moved me the most was the thought of Harry finding out how Hermione died. Draco really thought of the perfect revenge for him.

Anyway, this is an incredible story. Thanks for sharing it.

You really 'got' this! I wasn't sure if all of the true grit (if you will) would come across, but you pin pointed the emotional turmoil the three characters were put through in very few words, so precisely, that I feel like I got my story across! :D

Thank you so much for leaving your thoughts for me to read. It's a wonderful motivator =P

Here via a rec on dramione and I am beyond floored. This was amazing! Emotional and angsty and hot and so tragic. Poor Hermione to have lost her daughter and her husband after surviving a war. The pain she must have felt! And then having Draco strip her of everything, strip her emotionally...wow ( ... )

As I said to the comment above - you really 'got' what this whole fic was about, and nothing is a greater compliment. You picked up on all of the underlying emotions and manipulations, and realised that these people are complicated. There is so much going on that even they cannot see who they truly are.

I felt I had to put them through an awful lot to make this scenario even a little believable and therefore envoke your sympathies for the characters. Though Draco, of course, envokes so many feelings through his actions because I figure the guy is pretty messed up, yet retains some of who he could have been if life had have been kinder.

Blah blah blah =P I'll shut up now. But thanks for taking the time to let me know you enjoyed the read. It's very inspiring to me :)

Wow. I just got my hands on this story and I am so glad I did. You have captured the torment and the loss and the desperation so well. I love Hermione in this because the backstory you've given fits the situation and her reactions so well. This story was haunting and beautiful and thank you for sharing!
