We (the mods) have been talking about the possibility of making hp_emofest a biannual fest which would mean that there would be another fest sometime this year in winter.

To make sure that we'll have enough participants, we thought we'd make a little poll to ask your opinion

I'm very much for another Emo-Fest, however, running it as a biannual fest seems too ambitious to me. There are so many Santa-holiday-Yule fests happening in December, I doubt you'd get the participation and readership that you want.

During your proposed time, you're right in the middle of all the holiday fests. And while it might be nice to have some different fare during that period, I think you'll face a lot of competition in terms of readers. I might put posting in Jan or Feb so that your writers get more attention.
