Um, I downloaded an H/D fic from the fest titled "Wishes and Fireflies", but it's not on the list?

ETA: Never mind, found it on Part I. Not H/D after all. :-} Going off to read all the goodies now!

I am amazed at the scope of this fest, and loved that it celebrated so many different genres and pairings. Thank you so much for all your hard work in bringing us these incredible art and fics , it truly is appreciated! <333

Aw...

You know, what I love about this fest is that all pairings (or even not-pairings, even gen) can be included in the prompts. Sometimes you get... surprises, you know? Amazing things, like, a new author, or a new author writing a pairing you never thought would work, but now you're reading a story involving them and they do work there and the story is astoundingly brilliant and then you start to want more of that pairing because OMG that time you read them they were freaking amazing? And that, well. That doesn't usually happen. And it's kind of hard to reach people when you're writing minimal pairings -- like, Draco/Seamus, for instance, or, idk, Lorcan/Scorpius, that kind of thing? It just, it doesn't happen when participating in the kind of fests that have main pairings, so that's why I liked this one. Because it's sometimes shocking, you know ( ... )

(Well, okay. That bit was... badly expressed. I meant like, if it posted on Ao3 the first time it posts. Because then I could subscribe and get emails. Duh. But then, I have so many dates to remember I tend to forget about fests, so... that'd be useful for me.)

This was my first time participating as a writer and I had a fantastic time! I always like the fests that you mod Dig. Plenty of time to claim and to write, which is great for a slow writer like.

I'd love to see another round next year but I also get that mods need downtime. I know that I plan on participating as both reader and writer the next time the fest rolls around :D
