Narcissa lied to his face. Either Voldy was too tired or distracted to mindread or Narcissa is good at blocking mindreading.

this is gonna sound stupid, but i've never even considered that narcissa was an awesome occlumens (sp?). i always thought voldemort was just too proud of his "accomplishment" to think he'd failed. hm

Also, the book didn't confirm the gender of Neville's admirers!

i wonder if hannah abbot was among them?

I actually cried when Neville pulled the Sword out of the Hat, I was so proud of him. It made me so happy.

Molly wasn't part of the Order in the first war. Lupin mentions it while conforting her in the Woes of Mrs. Weasley chapter.

Not disputing the rest of what was said, though Bellatrix was probably underestimating her as well.

I would have liked it if Neville had been the one to kill Bellatrix but then Jo had to take it up another level and have him slay Nagini. So I guess that's okay.
