Is there anything at all mentioned as to the identity of the Head Boy and Girl in GoF? Houses, anything? I'm more interested in the Head Girl, but if there's any info on the HB, that would be useful too.

Nope. The only time "head boy" appears in GoF is talking about Bill Weasley having been one in his days at Hogwarts. "Head girl" doesn't appear at all in the text.

Excellent. I'm working on a "GoF from Hufflepuff POV" piece, to a) show how Hufflepuffs deal with Cedric as champ, the badges, his death etc. as well as b) highlight Hufflepuffs. One character that appeared as one of their movers and shakers was a Hufflepuff Head Girl, as Puffs are rare in canon. To show that they're not "duffers"

I don't think it's ever stated, though I'm pretty sure it's implied (or even stated) that Cedric is a prefect, not Head Boy.

And go you for using Hufflepuffs!

I believe Cedric was in fact a sixth-year at the time, so he definitely wasn't HB.
