I was so excited to see this post and please forgive my tardiness in commenting.

I loved this - I was not expecting the pairing at all and I have been looking forward to reading this all day. I love your descriptions of Alecto and in particular:

It was all silence and dark beauty and it was all hers

I very much enjoyed what you did with them both and I LOVED in particular the way you wrote Macnair. It felt so IC to me, his quick fucking, his crude language and behaviour and then the observation he would probably want a cuddle which really made me snorfle.
