Gift art for:ani_bester Title: Blame it on the moonlight Subject: PP/RL: Peter takes care of Remus in the forbidden forest the morning after a full moon Medium: Poser 7 and Gimp Rating: PG
Thanks so much. I pictured Peter being given the job of helping Remus while Sirius and James went off to get sleep, and then developing feelings for Remus because of the time spent.
Beautiful! I love how it looks like traces of magic from Remus's transformation, and how Peter has his arm protectively placed over Remus while he watches over him. :)
This is great! I've not played with Poser yet, is it anything like Maya? I love Remus' face and what looks like a few bruises/cuts on his forehead? And I will admit that there is no love lost between me and peter, but I think you did an amazing job of making him look not quite so...yucky. XD Beautiful job!
Thank you! Poser is more of a hobbyist program, like virtual photography. There is very little modeling you can do with it (you can do some, but not like Maya), it's more the rendering engine and dynamics to be honest. You can import .obj files and use those as well as lightwave ones I believe, though. I have fun because the figures I use have the morphs that allow me to change features of the face and expressions without having to make a whole new figure.
I'm so glad you can see all of the scars on his face. I had altered the texture of the figure, but in the end I had to make the hair respond to gravity and avoid his rock pillow so I didn't think anyone could see them. Thank you for commenting!
Oooh, that sounds fun! I'll have to check it out. My only 3-D experience has been with Maya, so starting off with figures instead of having to build them bit by bit sounds FUCKING AMAZING. O.o;
er...
And yeah, I wasn't exactly sure if they were supposed to be there or not, but now that you've explained it more I can see it better. Don't you hate it when your vision can't come out specifically as you planned? But it's wonderful nonetheless!
