Do you know how LONG it takes to download around 200 pictures off your camera and load about 90 of them to photobucket? I'm still downloading mum's collection to my computer and there are about 100 on that one.

At Walgreens, we got about 160 prints...some of them doubles...but they were the best of them.

I am going to be talking about this for WEEKS around home! I have my book club meeting next week and I CAN'T wait to show off. I think I had a pic of you two from Lumos and I can't wait to tell the kids that I actually spent time with YOU. They will be SO impressed.

I think we are thinking about going to Terminus because it will be the closest event for us. Maybe we will see you there?

We hope to make Terminus, though it is just a month after Portus so no guarantees yet ... bribery always helps ;-) ... and a nice quiet room to relax will have to be a must.

I'll be posting pics, mind if I steal a few? Feel free to steal Ours as well. If you have the current edition of George Beahm's Muggles and Magic, We're in there too, heading the photo section.

Portus as I remember was out of my price range with the first registration prices...and Chicago is only 3 hours from where I live. I am more than able to bribe...even if it is only with crochet. I did manage to spend some time on the train designing the "Voldie Is Our Lord" lap blanket. I am trying to decide the colors now...traditional Slytherin colors or a Black/White/Red scheme. Of course, as I plan to send it to you and alabastardragon when it's finished, perhaps the two of You would like to have some input?

Feel free to take what you like of the pics. I did get the 3rd edition of the Muggles and Magic before I went to PR. There were QUITE a few pictures of various Malfoys in it. You two are stunning as usual.

I think mum and I are looking at Terminus for being our next con. The others are too far away or too expensive. I know I am going to hate the credit card bill, but it was SO worth it. Please feel free to take any of the pics I post if you wish. I have one that I will probably post by the end of the week that looks like your house elf is going on the attack. *grin* Be well.

We have less than no money too but it was worth it. Hoping We will be able to go to both Terminus and Portus but will have to see with them being only a month apart.

More, More I want to hear MORE! Holy COW! Did you have a fantastic time or WHAT?! I can’t believe you managed to talk V into singing. Well yes I can. She is so great at it and I know she loves it. But OHMYGOD can she sing! My kids and I loved it when she sang for us on her birthday. Daniel and I sang along, miserably because I didn’t have the lyrics in front of me so I screwed up, but it was fun. I just love her to pieces, and you too my dear. I am going to have to find a way to meet you someday, even if I have to hock stuff to do it ( ... )

Oh, man. I about cried when she said she would meet me at the piano and play for me!!!! And then she started working on a new song...RIGHT THERE!!!!!

I think mum and I are going to work on going to Terminus (which is in Chicago in August of 08).

Mum got QUITE a few compliments for being such a fantastically cool mum!!! You might have to get in line (she also works at a uni, and got me a free college education).

Oh, love, use the bag!!! They will stretch a bit, but can be washed (they are 100% acrylic). Do feel free to put a liner in. I am HORRIBLE at sewing (or even thinking of those things). If you look at some of the pics, you can see how they stretch well, but keep shape. Mum just stuck her regular purse inside HER bag.

V = one tremendously talented and super sweet little lady.

I don’t know if I can swing another convention yet, but I am sure as hell going to try. Chicago is only one very long days drive from here. We shall see.

Put in a good word for me with Mum, would you? You’d make a cool little sister. And I’d draw all the art you wanted, to the best of my ability *bats eyelashes* Pa-pa-please?

I WILL use the bag. I just want it to last for ever and ever and still look as lovely as it does now. Hey maybe if you like the way the liner works out, I can show you how to make them. You did say you had a sewing machine right? I can teach you how to use it. And maybe one day you can make costumes with it. :oO Imagine that! AND if I do get to go to Terminus next year I’ll give you sewing lessons if you give me a crochet lessons. Sound good?
