As a dedicated Snupin shipper, 'No Explanation' really disturbed me. But I do think it is quite powerful. It's a very well done drabble. But painful.

OMG, I spend nearly all my time at lupin_snape, so this drabble was painful for me, too. I could not bring myself to list it as Lupin/Snape, and I thought about trying to have him hurt someone else, but Lupin seemed to be the best candidate for (my mental) backstory.

I wasn't sure it would upset anyone else, and there's no way I'll link to it at lupin_snape, so thank you so much for taking the time to comment on it.

Your second one was bloody amazing! I really love the subtlty of the piece and the devious nature of a Ravenclaw (in my humble experience, you have to be really smart to pull off deviousness).

The other two were great, as well.

I don't think they would ever really do that (of course; that's why it's perfect for this challenge), but I can imagine that it might grate on them from time to time.

Thanks for the comments! Glad you liked them!

The Snape one was very dark, but it works. I can see why it was so hard for you to write - good on you for keeping true to your idea.

The Ginny one was hilarious, and an excellent kind of evil!

Gah, yeah, I don't mind writing dark drabbles now and then, but to do that to my lovely Snupin.....

And I'm glad you liked the Ginny one. She's the only one who could pull off the threat AND carry it through.

The first was definitely evil, and in compliance with the overlord list. ;)
I can see the second one happening, Ravenclaws ought to have done something like that to her before OWLs.
And the last... love Ginny when she's hexing people.

What is the overlord list?

The 2nd one -- yeah, OWLs would have been good, but I didn't come up with the idea until after OotP. ;-) And this gives them an extra two years to get fed up to the point of doing something this horrible. :-D

Yes, "size is no measure of power", was that the exact quote? It bothers me that people didn't like Ginny in the last book. To my mind, she's getting better and better.

Here, it’s a good read.

Oh yes there is that, more planning this way. :)

I’m not sure if that’s the exact quote or not but it went like that. And the reason they don’t like Ginny -or my reason- is because she’s getting so much better. It’s a bit unreal. Although I console myself to it by believing that she’s still taking Tom’s advice. Like something of him stuck in her mind, I know, I’m warped.
